On this page you will find a record of the outputs from the project. This includes videos and slides (where possible) from the public lectures and public forum, and any associated journal articles and reports. There is also a link to the mini-documentary about ASC in adulthood.

Hearing about ASC from autistic people.

The creation of this short film stemmed from an idea from one of the participants in the project. The aim behind the film is to hear from autistic adults about their experience of autism. One of the many things I've learnt while working on this project is that people's experience of ASC can vary widely. This video presents a snap-shot from the perspective of three different autistic adults.

Professor Olga Bogdashina: "A reconstruction of the Sensory World of Autism"

On 23rd January 2017 Professor Bogdashina gave a wonderfully insightful talk about sensory issues in autism spectrum conditions.

The video recording of Olga's talk is available here

Professor Tony Charman: "Heterogeneity of ASD and its effect on diagnosis"

On 22nd March 2017 Professor Charman provided a very interesting talk about heterogeneity in autism, early diagnosis and some of his exciting work regarding what we can learn by studying younger siblings of children who have an autism diagnosis.

The slides from Tony's talk are available here
